Branding & Web Design for The Coach House

Building the brand for this gorgeous B&B was a joy - there were so many visual queues to work with: The sublime Georgian Architecture, the warm, soft tones of the stone buildings, the resident peacocks … The Coach House has it all!

The owners wanted a simple website for enquiries and to show what a relaxing place it is to visit. They also wanted build a blog full of events and activities that occur locally.

For me the core essence of the brand was about a inviting people in for a warm welcome, in a refined location and with the independence to explore both the grounds and the beautiful region.

The brand needed to feel: refined, relaxed and welcoming, and their visitors would feel relaxed, welcome and comfortable.

The colour palette came straight from the locality - the grand gardens, the sublime stone and the ferns and trees surrounding the coach house. The typography resonated with the age of the building, and the warmth of the airy interiors. And the peacock feathers - well, those peacocks will form part of your memories of the stay!
